Join a Freedom Trail Player in 19th-century Dickensian garb and explore the history of holiday celebrations along the historic Freedom Trail. Revisit the days when Boston hosted the triumphant American premiere of Charles Dickens holiday classic A Christmas Carol. Hear the story of how Christmas and holiday traditions evolved in Boston and the highlights of the American Revolution as it happened just 75 years earlier. End the tour with hot chocolate, tea or wine, and the famous Boston Cream Pie at the Omni Parker House Hotel.
This 90-minute long tour departs from the ArtsBoston Bostix Booth at Faneuil Hall at 3:30 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays in November, December, and January. Holidays are excluded.
