Revolutionary ideas may have come from speeches at Faneuil Hall or a meeting of the Sons of Liberty, but their courage and inspiration came from Boston’s taverns. Let an 18th-century costumed guide lead you on a Historic Pub Crawl and visit the real headquarters where the American Revolution was brewed - Blackstone Block. At each of the four pubs you will visit on your tour, taste contemporary Boston fare and enjoy a different sample-size Sam Adams beer. This tour is 90 minutes and is great for individuals, small groups, corporate team building, or as a cool date.
24 hour reservations are recommended.
The Historic Pub Crawl is offered every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.. Reservations can be made by calling the Freedom Trail Foundation at 617.357.8300, and a minimum of 6 people are required for the tour to run.
Private and Corporate group tours are also available on alternate dates and times (with some limitations) but reservations are required for ALL tours. Please contact the Freedom Trail Foundation by email or by calling 617.357.8300.
